How does ordering a custom map work?

It’s simple:

  • Choose your print size and style.
  • Pick your location — this can be an address, coordinates, park, city, etc.
  • Add custom options like a title, date, or special color palette.
  • We design your map by hand and send it to print.

You’ll receive a tracking number once it ships!

Can I add personal labels or reference points?

Yes — choose our Custom Map + Reference Points option if you’d like to highlight details like:

  • A specific house or venue
  • “Home” labels
  • Marked roads, trails, or landmarks

These take more time, but they’re deeply meaningful. We recommend them for gifts, weddings, and special occasions.

How long will my order take?

  • Pre-designed maps: Usually ship in 3–5 business days.
  • Custom maps: Ship in 5–7 business days.
  • Full commissions (with reference points): May take 7–10+ business days depending on volume.
  • Rush orders available upon request (+$25–50).

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this time.

We currently ship within the U.S. only — but we do offer digital download options for many of our products, which are perfect for international customers who want to print locally.

What kind of paper and printing do you use?

All physical prints are:

  • Printed on museum-grade matte paper
  • High-resolution, archival-quality ink
  • Carefully packaged in protective tubes or mailers

They’re made to last and look stunning framed.

Do you offer digital downloads?

Yes — you can order a digital version of any map. These are high-res files delivered to your email, ready to print at home or locally.

Great for last-minute gifts or international buyers!

Can I send a map as a gift?

Absolutely. Our maps make meaningful gifts for:

  • Weddings & anniversaries
  • Housewarmings
  • Birthdays
  • Memorials
  • “Just because” surprises

If you’d like to include a gift note, just leave it in your order notes.

Can I request something totally custom?

We love special projects. If you have a big idea — a series of maps, a map + story combo, or something we haven’t listed — reach out through Messenger and we’ll see what we can do.

What if I don’t love my map?

We want you to be proud to hang it on your wall.

For all custom designs, we’ll send you a proof before printing — so you can approve the layout and make sure everything feels just right. Nothing goes to print without your okay.

If your print arrives damaged or there’s an error, we’ll make it right and send a replacement — no stress.

Because each custom piece is made just for you, we’re unable to offer refunds once a design is approved and printed. But if something doesn’t feel right, we’re always here to help and make sure you love what you receive.

Does my order ship together if I order a bundle?

To ensure each item arrives to you in perfect condition, all prints, including those in our Signature Bundle, are shipped separately. This careful packaging protects your artwork from any potential damage during transit, so you receive your maps pristine and ready to display. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the quality and safety of your order.

Do you offer framing?

Imagine the moment. The map you’ve been waiting for - the one holding the memory of your first home or that unforgettable year abroad - finally arrives on your doorstep. You open the box, anticipating the feeling of seeing your story on paper, only to find the moment is broken. A splintered frame, a corner dented, the art itself dusted in a fine layer of shattered glass.

The journey a large, framed piece takes through shipping is fraught with risk, and for something so deeply personal, it’s a risk we are simply unwilling to take with your story.

Instead, we focus on what we do best: creating beautiful, minimalist maps printed on premium, gallery-quality paper. We make sure the art itself is pristine.

To give you complete control over the final presentation, we design our maps in traditional, standard sizes that make framing simple and enjoyable. This way, you can choose a frame that perfectly matches your space and personal style, turning the final step of this journey into a joyful act of creation.
